Yamoto Motor Corporation is a US importer of Chinese ATVs and dirtbikes. Their warehouse is in Union City, California. Following an agreement signed in October of 2004, all Yamoto ATVs and dirtbikes in North and South America are marketed by Patriot Motorcycle Corporation of Dana Point, California. Patriot Motorcycles is the exclusive distributor of the Yamoto line of dirt bikes and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) for the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Chile. Patriot also offers an unprecedented extended Five-Year Guarantee, based on continued use of its co-branded zMAX® Micro-Lubricant.
In March 2005, Patriot Motorcycle Corp. named Los Angeles-based RBI Communications to lead its public relations and communication strategies. Yamoto ATVs range in size from 50cc to 250cc. They come with a six month warranty on parts or an extended Five-Year Guarantee, based on continued use of the zMAX® Micro-Lubricant. Many of the Yamoto products are produced by Stannic in Taiwan and are the same as the Kazuma ATVs.
PATRIOT/zMAX ENGINE TREATMENT PROGRAM
In March 2005 Patriot Motorcycles Corporation (“Patriot”) announced the details of its joint agreement with zMax Micro Lubricants™. The agreement allows for the first ever five (5) year guarantee of Off-Road Motorcycles and ATV’s. This warrantee covers power trains, transmissions, carburetors and all internally lubricated parts including primary drives and shaft final drives (refer to zMax Motorcycle, ATV Guarantee).
The details of the agreement are as follows:
Patriot will supply dealers with the zMax product at $9.95 per six (6) ounce bottle. Patriot recommends a dealer retail pricing level of $19.95 per bottle. Note that zMax is only sold to dealers by the case, at $238.80. To order zMax, contact your regional sales manager. In the near future, dealers will be able to get zMax using the automated parts order system on the patriotmotorcycles.com web site.
Patriot vehicles will be serviced by dealers prior to delivery. Servicing includes the installation of four (4) ounces of zMax in the engine and two (2) ounces in the gas tank. Dealers are advised to fill engine oil to the recommended level prior to installing the zMax product.
The purchaser must return to a Patriot dealer for servicing, which includes an oil change and installation of the zMax product, every six months. This servicing creates a paper trail to support the zMax guarantee and adds an additional revenue stream for our dealers.
The initial six-month warranty (parts only) is provided by Patriot in the Yamoto base warranty package. With the implementation and maintenance of the zMax program, the zMax guarantee will cover the listed parts and labor for an additional 4.5 years (refer to zMax Motorcycle, ATV Guarantee for additional information).
The zMax product is packaged in a co-branded format with Patriot.
All Patriot dealers are required to participate in the zMax program. This program is unparalleled in the off-road recreational vehicle industry and sets Yamoto apart from other manufacturers of off-road products.
The zMax claims procedure is outlined in the “ZMax Motorcycle, ATV Guarantee.”

On Jan. 12, 2005, Patriot Motorcycles Corporation proved that there is a growing market in the US for affordable, Chinese-manufactured “Yamoto” off-road products.
On November 2, 2004, Patriot Motorcycles took over distribution and operations for Yamoto Motor Corporation. In the first 60 days, Patriot Motorcycles delivered over 1,750 units, with an average wholesale dealer price of $950 each.

On January 13, 2005, Patriot Motorcycles conducted the first quarterly meeting of its Dealer Advisory Board (DAB). Attending dealers were assembled from across the US to introduce Patriot Motorcycles’ national dealer rollout plan and the brand-new Yamoto 200cc water-cooled ATV, equipped with state of the art double A-arm independent front suspension.

On Feb. 8, 2005 Patriot Motorcycles Corporation announced the launch of their national television ad campaign with an agreement with the syndicated celebrity motor sports show “Steel Dreams TV.”
Patriot Motorcycle Corp. and Steel Dreams reached an agreement as part of Patriot’s continuing efforts to fully brand its Yamoto line of ATV’s and Dirt Bikes with their target consumers. Steel Dreams, now in its fourth season, is regarded as a pioneer of the extremely popular genre of celebrity/motorcycle action shows.
“Steel Dreams is excited about having a dynamic young company like Patriot Motorcycles on board,” says Mike Shannon, CEO/Chairman of Steel Dreams. “The Patriot line fits perfectly into our show’s demographics and we are excited to help them be the first to brand a Chinese-manufactured line of ATV’s and dirt bikes.”

On Feb. 7, 2005 Patriot Motorcycles Corporation announced it has teamed up with Freestyle Motocross.

On March 17, 2005 Patriot Motorcycles Corporation, the only distributer of Yamoto motor products in North America, Brazil and Chile, has named Los Angeles-based RBI Communications to head its public relations and communication strategies.
